Party leaders will decide when to debate resolution to remove Deshabandu: Speaker

Colombo, July 23 (Daily Mirror) - The party leaders will decide when Parliament should take up the debate on the resolution to remove IGP Deshabandu Tennekoon from his post, the Speaker told Parliament.
"The resolution should be passed by a clear majority, counting the absent MPs as well, to remove the IGP from the post as per Standing o
Order 27," the Speaker announced.
The resolution has to remain in the Prder Paper for five days, he added.
