Colombo, September 15 (Daily Mirror) - The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has announced a public consultation on the proposed third electricity tariff revision for the fourth quarter of 2025, submitted by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).
The Commission said written comments and suggestions from the public and stakeholders will be accepted until October 7, 2025, while oral consultations will be conducted across nine provinces between September 18 and October 8, 2025.
The consultation document and related details can be accessed on the PUCSL website, www.pucsl.gov.lk
Oral consultation sessions are scheduled to be held at district secretariat auditoriums in Trincomalee, Monaragala, Puttlam, Kilinochchi, Galle, Polonnaruwa, Kegalle, Nuwara Eliya, and at BMICH in Colombo.
Members of the public who wish to participate are requested to register in advance through the contact numbers provided by PUCSL.

The Commission said that stakeholder participation is vital in reviewing the proposed tariff revision, which will influence electricity pricing for the final quarter of 2025.
