Colombo, April 4 (Daily Mirror) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) a short while ago for a three-day official visit.

He arrived at the Katunayake Airport on the special Boeing 777 aircraft "India - 01" belonging to the Indian government, from Bangkok, Thailand.

They arrived in Sri Lanka for this visit after attending the BIMSTEC Summit held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath arrived at the Special Guest Lounge at the Katunayake Airport to receive the Indian Prime Minister and the delegation.

Due to the current rainy weather conditions in the area around the Katunayake Airport, arrangements have been made to hold the ceremony in that lounge.
