Sad to see frequent accident on occasional basis. Thus has nothing to do with politics. Nothing to do with Copping of drivers but give a frequent reminder to all drivers and pedestrians to be safe and stick to their basics. Even on driving Colombo Roads, how many drivers know the standard driving speed they are driving at? I wonder Cop can answer to it? Certainly there is tragic but what’s the max speed?

Private bus drivers are monkeys. They should be driven deep into the Yala jungle or Uda walwe jungles. See Lanka is the only cuntry where monkeys used to manage public transport

cant the government enforce a law, public transport drivers who have a accident will have their licenses cancelled for 2 years at least, this madness does not seem to end..

Clean Sri Lanka should focus on how the drivers licenses issued to drivers who failed tests. And also need to examine the quality of the training before new drivers exams. Need to be strict as Dubai drivers license exams.

Reckless driving is not being checked even on Colombo roads. Three-wheelers and buses have become a menace on the roads. All vehicles should adhere to driving keeping a specified distance of the vehicle ahead. West has adopted disciplined driving rules to avoid accidents. Why not this been implemented in Sri Lanka.
