Over 300,000 narcotic pills seized in Kalpitiya

Colombo, June 27 (Daily Mirror) - Four parcels containing 317,000 narcotic pills were taken into police custody at Mohoththuwaram, a beach in Kalpitiya last night, Police said.

The Police Media Division said the parcels which had been brought from a foreign country were taken into custody on information received by the Kalpitiya police.

Further investigations are in progress.
