Over 260 tourists affected by Cyclone Ditwah



Colombo, Dec. 4 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) announced that 269 tourists were affected by Cyclone Ditwah, which impacted parts of the island recently.

In a statement, the Authority said the largest affected groups were 52 Indian nationals and 40 Bulgarian nationals. It noted that all tourists are currently being traced and confirmed safe.

Reaffirming its commitment to visitor safety, the SLTDA added that tourist attractions remain open, services have been restored, and international arrivals are continuing, signalling steady recovery and growth for the sector.
