I notice that many articles claim Cyclone Ditwa caused the damage, destruction of houses, and the impact on people. In reality, Cyclone Ditwa itself did not cause such devastation. It merely added to the continuous rainfall. The subsequent flooding resulted from significant lapses and human mismanagement. Ditwa did not cause the flooding, damage, or loss of life. The disaster occurred due to the floods and was worsened by handling errors and delayed response.
