Colombo, March 03 (Daily Mirror) - Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali today remanded another two suspects arrested over the murder of Ganemulla Sanjeewa at the Colombo Cheif Magistrate’s Court, till 7 March, 2025.

The suspects, Udara Nirmal Gunaratne of Minuwangoda and Nalin Dushyantha of Minuwangoda Road, Dunagaha were arrested on suspicion of providing SIM cards for the commission of the crime and aiding and abetting the murder. They were detained for 72 hours under the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act No. 48 of 1979 and were produced before the court today for further investigations.
