Colombo, April 30 (Daily Mirror) - The Court of Appeal's decision whether or not to consider the writ petition filed by former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella seeking an order directing the Maligakanda Magistrate to release him on bail was today postponed for May 7.
The former Minister is challenging the orders by the Maligakanda Magistrate on February 3, February 15, February 29 and March 29, consistently refusing to release him on bail and placing him in remand custody till the conclusion of the trial.

It is bad taste when courts postpose orders several times like this. Court must calculate the approximate time needed to write a judgement/order before fixing a date. This matter was put off a few times. Keheliya is an accused who must be in remand, as at the end he will be acquitted
