Opposition to nominate Rifki Badurdeen as CMC Mayor

Colombo, June 2 (Daily Mirror) - The Opposition is to nominate Sarvajana Balaya party's Colombo Municipal Councillor Mohideen Rifki Badurdeen as the Council's Mayor, an informed source said.

Rifki Badurdeen's name has been gazetted as a CMC member returned.

Badurdeen is a business leader and entrepreneur.

Wrong choice. He will make CMC services into a commercial business enterprise. And all the crooks would get together for another bout of corruption and scams. CMC is a nice " money making nest" anyway.
