One lane on the Colombo-Kandy road at Pahala Kadugannawa reopened

One lane of the Pahala Kadugannawa area on the Colombo-Kandy main road has been opened for vehicular movement, Kegalle District Secretary Mahinda S. Weerasooriya said.

He told the Daily Mirror that the decision was taken following recommendations given by the Road Development Authority (RDA) and the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) this evening.

However, the road is yet to be opened for both heavy and light vehicles, he said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
