One injured in Kosgama shooting

Colombo, Dec. 3 (Daily Mirror) - A 40-year-old man travelling in a three-wheeler was injured in a shooting incident in the Boralugoda area in Kosgama this evening (03). He was rushed to the Avissawella Hospital for treatment.

According to police, initial investigations have revealed that the suspects arrived on a motorcycle. However, the motive behind the shooting and details regarding the weapon used are yet to be determined.

Four police teams, including officers from the Kosgama Police, have been deployed to track down the suspects and further inquiries are underway.
