Notorious criminal ’Kudu Anju’ arrested in France, Interpol informs SL

Notorious criminal and drug trafficker Sinhara Amal Saminda Silva alias Kudu Anju has been arrested in France, police said.

Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said the Interpol has informed Sri Lankan authorities about the arrest.

In 2020, the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) obtained Red Notice for the arrest of 14 members of organized crimes and drug trafficking, including Kudu Anju who were in hiding in foreign countries.

It is reported that he was arrested in France a few days ago based on a complaint by his wife following a dispute with her.
