Norton Bridge-Sri Pada road reopens for traffic after ten days

Colombo, June 24 (Daily Mirror) - The Norton Bridge-Sri Pada road via Ginigathhena and Diyagala, which was closed for ten days from June 14 due to the risk of a bridge collapsing, was reopened this morning.

The Road Development Authority (RDA) closed the road due to the construction of a new Bailey bridge.

The road was reponed for vehicular traffic today after completing the construction wok of the new Bailey bridge.
