No fuel shortage in the country: CPC

Colombo, Feb 28 (Daily Mirror) - The Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) assured the public that there is no shortage of fuel in the country and that distribution is continuing as usual.

The public is urged not to panic, as retailers have not confirmed any fuel order stoppages.

Despite this assurance, long queues were observed outside several fuel stations in Colombo this evening.

This follows the announcement of the Fuel Distributors' Association that they will cease fuel ordering activities from midnight today.

If this is done by opposition according to you, then npp is not suitable to govern a country as major iincident will put everyone in danger. For your knowledge, the strike is done by distruibutors as the 3 percent commission given to them was removed by foolish cpc head and deputy. Such things should be done carefully as such things can lead to major issue. Also for your knowledge, the union responsible for the strike is a major supporter of npp government as well. Lol
