Colombo, March 28 (Daily Mirror) - The fuel prices will not be increased again at the end of March, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Chairman D.J. Rajakaruna said.
He told a news conference at the Government Information Department that the next fuel price revision will be made by the government based on the fuel prices in the world market.
"I can confirm that there will be no fuel price revision at the end of this month," he said responding to a question regarding the fuel price revision.
Fuel prices were increased on March 21 midnight, where the price of auto diesel was increased by Rs. 79 to Rs. 382 per litre, and the price of super diesel was increased by Rs. 90 to Rs. 443 per litre while Octane 95 petrol was increased by Rs. 90 to Rs. 455, and Octane 92 petrol was increased by Rs. 81 to Rs. 398 per litre.
