Former Minister Manusha Nanayakkara said today that there is no evidence to prove he had engaged in human trafficking.

"The CID has no proof to take action against me," Nanayakkara told the media after giving a statement to the CID.

"I will take legal action against those who sling mud at me," he added.

Even if there is evidence that you engaged in human trafficking, what is the big deal. There are many politicians who have stolen billions, arranged the killing of journalists such as Lasantha Wickrematunge and Ekneligoda and 250 innocent people in 2019 Easter Sunday massacre staying happily without even being charged.
