Colombo, May 26 (Daily Mirror) - Nishantha Bandara Basnayake, Coordinating Secretary of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, was today ordered to be remanded till June 3 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali over the allegations of aiding and abetting the misappropriation of over Rs. 8 million in public funds during his time as Coordinating Secretary of the former Minister at the Ministry of Mass Media, Health and Environment.

While congratulating the judiciary , the people were very disheartened to see an A grade rouge of Nawalapitiya , walking out of the court like a king,after wasting millions and millions of foreign exchange for paying for the shit ship from China. Hope he will be put inside again when his carom board case is taken up by the courts.

DO NOT WORRY about anybody's getting bail as long as the case continues. The procedures may be slow but if the due process is allowed without political interference, like with the previous regimes, no perpetrator would walk out scot-free.
