Nine-hour water cut in Colombo tomorrow

Water supply would be interrupted from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow (January 20) in Colombo and the suburbs due to an essential repair of the pumping station in Ambathale, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

It said the water supply would be interrupted in Colombo, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela, Kotikawatte, Mulleriya, Ratmalana, and Kattubedda Municipalities.

The NWSDB requested the general public in the affected regions to collect adequate water in advance to avoid inconvenience. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
