Namal unaware of Mahinda vacating Wijerama: Sagara

Colombo, Sept. 11 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam said that MP Namal Rajapaksa was not aware of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa leaving his official residence today.

Kariyawasam told reporters that since Namal Rajapaksa is currently overseas, he could not be in Colombo at the time.

However, despite his remarks, Namal Rajapaksa had posted on X that his father had returned to his hometown of Tangalle after leaving the official residence in Colombo.
