For the position of Deputy Mayor, the NPP nominated Srikanth Nanda from Independent Group 01, who was also elected with eight votes, mirroring the count secured by the newly elected mayor.
Independent Group 01’s Mohammed Naushad, who contested for both the mayoral and deputy mayoral positions, received four votes on each occasion, reflecting support solely from his group members.
