NPC cancels its transfer order

The National Police Commission (NPC) has cancelled its earlier approved transfer of Kurunegala DIG Kithsiri Jayalath to the Trincomalee Division.

It said its decision to transfer the Kurunegala DIG to the Trincomalee Division, had not been transmitted to the IGP.
