NBRO issues landslide warnings for 11 districts

Colombo, Oct. 21 (Daily Mirror) - The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) today issued early landslide warnings for eleven districts.

Accordingly, the warning notices were issued to the Badulla, Colombo, Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Matale, Matara, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura districts.

Residents in these areas are advised to be watchful for possibility of landslides, slope failures, rock falls, cutting failures and ground subsidence.
