Colombo, July 9 (Daily Mirror) - The Mulgampola (Randon Hills) railway crossing between Kandy and Peradeniya railway stations will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic from Friday evening to Monday morning to facilitate essential repair work, the Railways Department said.

The crossing, located at the 52nd mile mark on the Matale railway line, will undergo repairs to make it suitable for the dual carriageway.

According to the General Manager of Railways, the railway crossing connecting Gatambe–Kandy Upper Road and William Gopallawa Road will remain closed from 6.00 p.m. on July 10 until 4.00 a.m. on July 13.
