Mother, son hacked to death in Karandeniya
Colombo, Sept. 12 (Daily Mirror) - Karandeniya Police have launched an investigation after a mother and son were founf brutally hacked to death inside their home at Kotawela in Karandeniya.
Police said the victims were a 75-year-old woman and her 25-year-old son, who was employed as a three-wheeler driver transporting school children.
The killings are believed to have taken place while the two were inside the house.
Police identified the suspect in the murder as a 43-year old and investigations are underway to arrest him and to find the motive behind the murder.
