More time for budget debate this time: Bimal

Colombo, September 15 (Daily Mirror)- It has been decided to allocate more time for the budget debate especially during the committee stage, Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayake said today.

Accordingly, he said the sessions of Parliament will begin at 9am each day during the committee stage debate and will continue till 6pm. 

The committee stage debate will begin on November 15 and continue till December 5. 

The vote on the third reading will be taken up at 6pm on December 5.

The debate on the second reading will begin on November 8 and continue till November 14.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will present the budget on November 7.
