Missile attacks in Israel injure two Sri Lankan women

Two Sri Lankan women were injured after Iranian ballistic missile attacks struck multiple locations across Israel, including Tel Aviv, Haifa and surrounding areas.

One woman, working in a residence south of Tel Aviv, was evacuated with her host family after a powerful tremor shook the house around 03:30 AM.

In a separate incident in Bat Yam at approximately 04:00 AM, another Sri Lankan woman suffered bruises and injuries to her right hand caused by falling glass. Her condition is reported to be stable.

Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara said that he personally spoke with the injured individual.

The missile attacks caused widespread damage, with several buildings catching fire. Israeli authorities have confirmed one fatality and multiple injuries across the affected regions.

The Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel is closely monitoring the situation and has called on all Sri Lankan nationals in the country who are in distress or danger to contact the Embassy immediately.
