Former Minister Mervyn Silva, who was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) was released without bail by the Colombo Additional Magistrate.

He was arrested today in connection with forcibly entering Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) in 2007.
