Manthri.lk launches “Anura Meter” to track key election promises

Colombo, July 14 (Daily Mirror) - Manthri.lk, a platform of Verité Research, announced the launch of 'Anura Meter', an online tracker that monitors the progress of selected promises made in the 2024 presidential election manifesto of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

"The 22 promises selected for tracking focus on proposals considered to be of high public interest and important in relation to economic reforms, governance, anti-corruption, law and order, and social protection

Information to update the Anura Meter is drawn from three sources such as credible information provided by users, responses received to RTI requests and what is found in published sources," Verité Research said.

Users are invited to contribute with ideas and information by visiting the Anura Meter on the Manthri.lk page.

Where was Verité Research during the times of the past regimes. At least corruption is somewhat under control and that is not to the liking of many who benefitted with funds made from corrupt deals. Anura needs much more time to solve many crimes as the past regimes have erased the vital evidence relating to some of them or have eliminated the witnesses

Ram, I somewhat agree with you. But its not an excuse to say that evidence have been erased. Remember the tons of files Anura showed before elections in front of media? If Anura is a strong leader who is FOR the citizens of the nation, he should settle these crimes against the nation, by hook or crook. He cannot give excuses for his incapability. So far he has proved that he is a weak man like Bandakka (ladies fingers), or else he is a pachaya. Now where is that Uganda Kumari? He cannot be this soft with Rajapakshahoru, Pina, Patholaya, Bandit Queen etc.
