Man shot dead in Hungama over land dispute
A man was shot dead this afternoon in the Pingama area of Hungama, Ambalantota, following a dispute over a paddy field, police said.
They said the suspect used a licensed firearm in the shooting and the victim died at the scene.
The shooter later surrendered to the Hungama Police, handing over the firearm used in the incident.
