Man killed in road accident near Kehelbaddara junction

Colombo, Oct. 31 (Daily Mirror) - A pedestrian was killed in a road accident near the Kehelbaddara Junction on the Udugampola Road within the Gampaha Police Division.

Police said the accident occurred when a car travelling from Udugampola towards Kotugoda lost control and struck a pedestrian walking on the left side of the road.

The victim, who sustained serious injuries, was rushed to the Gampaha Hospital but was pronounced dead on admission.

The deceased has been identified as a 38-year-old resident of the Udugampola area.
