Man hijacks police jeep in Tissamaharama

Colombo, Sept. 4 (Daily Mirror) - An individual hijacked a police jeep in which four police officers had set off to Pannagamuwa, Tissamaharama to settle a dispute.
Police said the hijacked jeep had been abandoned in a deserted area.
A team of four police officers had set off to Pannagamuwa following a call recieved to 119 hotline about a dispute.
The suspect who had hijacked the jeep surrendered to the police this afternoon.
