Malnutrition emerges as serious issue in Sri Lankan schools

Reduce Perks of Politicians, Senior Tri-Forces Officers Monday, 25 March 2024 05:04 PM

If you cut down the Perks and Salaries of the past and present Politicians, malnutrition will be eliminated. The amount spend on the size of the Tri-Forces, Perks of senior officers, senior government officials and past presidents is another area to cut and direct the savings to these children meals who are the future of the country. Each of them have colossal amount of security staff and vehicles too. Just do the maths and see how much will saved by downsizing and limiting these expenses.

Has he crossed over to the opposition??? He's the president for about 2 years now. About 50 years in politics, 6 times prime minister, except for about 2 years he was either a cabinet minister or the opposition leader. Above all for almost entire years since 1994 he has been maintained by the public funds either as PM or opposition leader. Is he now asking the people to resolve these issues by themselves now? What sort of people have we appointed and maintained for 50 years???

Cut down on all your perks, security details, posh vehicles and unnecessary huge layers of senior officers in the Tri Forces. Divert the savings to these children who are the future of SL. The country is in severe debt but the way your officials and yourself are living a lavish lifestyle, jetting around the world with a delegation of mostly useless politicians who are more interested in shopping. That’s why the citizens are up in arms with the way the government expenses are so high and taxes and loans are being used to funds all these ridiculous expenses.

The biggest problem is the gap between Rich and middle-class then poor its beyond Ridiculous given majority are in the low income category there must be a mechanism to provide genuine assistance for families with children a social security system given help with children expenses Not only meals other expenses shoes socks uniforms books bags stationery sports gear if nessorory will help families Amensly and will provid little comfort for those who are in great difficulty. Good govern will make a huge difference

Why students are starving? You have no Brin to think as you are sitting on it Pina! Most of the politicians have stolen public funds and invested overseas! SL has no laws to capture these thieves and recover money! A good example is Kappam Thunga? Another one is Pagapala? This Pin Nakiya is blaming poor people!!
