Chattogram, March 18 - Sri Lanka's rising batting sensation Janith Liyanage hammered his maiden ODI hundred in the third and deciding ODI versus Bangladesh in Chattogram.
Despite not getting much support from the other end, Liyanage operated brilliantly and ended up scoring an unbeaten 101 off 102 balls (11 fours, 2 sixes).
His brilliance helped SL post 235/10 while batting first.

See how many talented players are in SL but still famous failures like Avishka and Mendis are ooccupying the top slots. Nissanka should open with someone who can play a longer innings. Also SL should go with 7 batters and 4 ballers. In past we won matches in that way where at least 2 to 3 batters were execeptional ballers. Aravinda, Dilshan, Mathews, Jayasuriya and even Arnold were handy ballers. Janith,Asalanka should be given overs to ball as well. Even Kamidu or another batting allrounder should be in thi lineup.

Actually, do Avishka and Wanidu know the meaning of responsibility? They are just low in their mindset. Cricketers with no brains and awareness to comprehend why they are playing at this level. Just riding on luck the novice gamblers.
Their story is same story of Sri Lanka Monday, 18 March 2024 09:11 PM
You think too highly that in the past the country has done with brains. No it was always good luck, and the infrastructure left over from colonial days. Players like Wasindu are like how Gota was as President, nothing but disaster.
