Liquor shops in A’pura closed for a week

Liquor shops in the Anuradhapura District would be closed for a week from tomorrow till June 19 in line with the Poson Poya Day celebrations, the Excise Department said today.

In addition, all liquor shops in the country will also be closed on Poson Poya Day, Excise Media Spokesman Kapila Kumarasinghe said.
