Limit people coming to handover nominations: Police urge political parties

Political parties have been requested to limit the number of people coming to handover  nomination papers, to two representatives, police said.

The nominations will be accepted from March 17 to 19.

Accordingly, the Police Headquarter informed all the Police stations across the country to inform the public and the political party representatives regarding the direction.

Police also advised political party representatives not to gather supporters around the nomination hall, since parades and meetings are prohibited according to the election law.
