Landslide warnings issued for four districts

Colombo, April 13 (Daily Mirror) - The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide warnings for four districts due to heavy rainfall. 

The Level-1 warnings have been issued, effective from 4 pm today (13) to 4 pm tomorrow (14).

Accordingly, the warning notices under Level 01 have been issued to the Kandy, Kegalle, Ratnapura and Nuwara Elya Districts.

The landslide warning includes the Yatinuwara Divisional Secretariat in Kandy district, Warakapola, Kegalle and Rambukkana Divisional Secretariats in the Kegalle district, Nuwara Eliya and Ambagamuwa Divisional Secretariat in the Nuwara Elya District and Imbulpe, Kuruwita, Openayake, Pelmadulla and Ratnapura Divisional Secretariats.
