LAUGFS gas also raises LPG prices

Colombo, April 5 (Daily Mirror) - LAUGFS Gas PLC has announced a revision of domestic LPG cylinder refill prices, effective from midnight today (05), citing prevailing market conditions.

Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder in the Colombo District has been increased by Rs. 1,070, bringing the new price to Rs. 5,700. Meanwhile, the price of a 5 kg cylinder has been raised by Rs. 418 to Rs. 2,280.

The company stated that the adjustment was made after efforts to manage internal costs, and assured that it will continue to monitor global market trends. LAUGFS Gas PLC further noted that any favourable changes in the market will be passed on to consumers where possible.
