Kotte Municipal Councillor, his brother arrested in Rajagiriya
Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Municipal Council member H. M. Ali Usuman and his brother were arrested with three swords in Rajagiriya.
Police said the 51-year-old councillor and his brother, H. M. Sulthan Shariq were arrested at their residences during a search carried out by the police and the STF in Rajagiriya area.
The police also recovered a machete and a CD from their possession. They were handed over to the Welikada Police to be produced in the court. (Darshana Sanjeewa)
