Kerala cannabis worth Rs. 21.6 million seized in Jaffna
Colombo, July 31 (Daily Mirror) - A stock of Kerala Cannabis valued at approximately Rs. 21.6 million was seized during a joint operation in the Maruthankerny area in Vaththirayan, Jaffna early this morning (31).
The operation was carried out by the Sri Lanka Army together with the Nelliady Police Special Task Force, based on information received from the Army Intelligence Corps in Jaffna.
During the raid, authorities discovered 108 kilograms of Kerala Cannabis packed in 54 parcels, suspected to have been illegally transported into the area.
