He must be dreaming! Hasn't he read the mood of the public, and understood the gravity of the accusation before filing his bail application? These guys are accused of knowingly playing around with and risking the lives of so many seriously ill persons.

Allowing bail means corruption accepted. Such people should remain inside.

Allowing bail means that the trial can be delayed indefinitely. Prassana Ranatunga and Wimal Weerawansas’ names ring a bell ? Magistrates confronted with an inordinate delay in the presentation of the police case have no option but to grant bail. This is the standard ploy. If anyone thinks Mullakelliya will be held accountable for his crimes, they are sadly mistaken.

Bail and case Drag on similar with Pearl Express Disaster Saturday, 23 March 2024 10:34 AM
With SL judiciary, it will be a norm to put him on bail as he didn’t physically kill anyone. The case will drag on for many years and lost in the process. New more dramatic cases will evolve every year to over ride these outstanding cases. The Pearl Express disaster court case is an example and now priority is on this moron Keheliya .
Hungry for nomination Friday, 22 March 2024 05:45 PM
His former leaders have spoken in support of General election to be held first. He must be in a hurry to get nomination, so that he can continue with his hunting spree. Otherwise he has all the comfort while in prison.

Will Keheliya be granted bail in order to vote for the dissolution of the Parliament?
