Kasun Rajitha ruled out of second Bangladesh Test

Sri Lanka suffered an injury setback ahead of the second Test against Bangladesh, starting on Saturday, with fast bowler Kasun Rajitha ruled out with an upper back injury.

Rajitha took eight wickets in Sri Lanka's emphatic 328-run win in the first Test, including a 5 for 56 in Bangladesh's second innings.

Replacing Rajitha in the squad is Asitha Fernando, though Sri Lanka are yet to decide the final composition of their team.

Rajitha will return to Sri Lanka to start rehabilitation work, Sri Lanka Cricket said.

It is a big blow to Srilankan squad However if there is a possibility to include Asitha Fernando it will be a great advantage for the captain D D S to put pressure on Bangali batsmen Because they are reluctant to face our faster bowlers

Is there no end to our bowlers been unfit to play? Next it would be Lahiru Kumara again. I don't know if there's any other cricketing nation with such a poor level of fitness among it's players.

If it is a grassy pitch, like the first, there must be 3 fast bowlers, if not 4, as Jayasuriya failed to take a single wicket. But, it could be a barren pitch, to rely on spinners by Bangali. SL must be concerned about running between wickets and try to avoid bouncers as Dimuth, Dananjaya and Kusal (fallen twice) got out by throwing away the wickets.
