KKS-bound train derailed at Kollupitiya
The intercity express train heading to Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia from Kankesanturai derailed near Kollupitiya while it returning to the station yard, the Railways Department said.
Railway department said the derailment caused severe damages to the track and sleepers.
