Justice Minister takes responsibility over Negombo prison clash

Colombo, July 6 (Daily Mirror) - Minister of Justice and National Integration Harshana Nanayakkara said he will take the responsibility as the minister in charge of prions over the clash at the Negombo prison.

Speaking to the media he said the situation at the Negombo prison has now been brought under control.

The Minister said the government will take measures to ensure that a similar situation will not recur in the future.

He said a comprehensive investigation will be conducted into what led to the clash.
