Jobs in South Korea rise steadily; 4th batch left this year: SLBFE



While showing an increase in job opportunities in South Korea, 169 people left for for that country during the month of January, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) said.

They said at present, the number of contract jobs in Korea has grown steadily. 

After the world's COVID-19 pandemic, the fourth batch comprising of 169 Sri Lankans left for SK on January 25.

The first batch of 89 Lankans left for jobs in SK on January 4, they said.

By 2021, a total number of 1,427 people have left for jobs in SK, they added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
