March 6 (Daily Mirror) - India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar held talks with Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath in New Delhi today, with discussions focusing on bilateral relations and the regional situation.

Following the meeting, Jaishankar said India’s Vision MAHASAGAR and Neighbourhood First policies would continue to guide cooperation between India and Sri Lanka.

In a message posted after the talks, Jaishankar described the meeting as a warm discussion on strengthening ties between the two countries while addressing developments in the region.

Sri Lanka has weak ministers, no negotiating skills to obtain Win-Win situations. Indians purposely sent those naval military ships to SL waters knowing very well these guys cannot reach Iran. We, the Sri Lankans have been forced to accept these Naval vessels by them. I never believe any Indian bloke who comes to assist wearing sheep-overalls.

I was shocked to hear the Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka answering questions of a Woman English Interviewer aired this afternoon on Hiru News of the latest developments in the war in the Middle East and some incidents which have spilled over to the Indian Ocean as it was pathetic to hear him responding with the audience laughing to make him a bloody Ass. Are these the representatives of our country holding distinguished portfolios in comparison to the past Foreign Ministers like Kadiragamar who was articulate and responded so eloquently in my opinion this fellow is rubbish who is fit for the dustbin in international affairs!!!!!
