The war will be ended up very soon and peace will prevail in both countries. We don't need to panic. Panic treat in SriLanka is spreaded by the Defeated, Rejected and Discarded Opposition parties and not the ruling party. NPP is ready to face any situations as they are well equipped.

The impact is mainly on external earnings and expenses. Expat remittances , export revenue could decline while cost of imports are likely to go up with higher oil prices and increased war premiums. Air travel could be more expensive. Then the possible loss of expat lives, live hood for many people would add to social burden. Sri lanka could see an influx of those fleeing the wars occupying hotels here if it prolongs. A lot of other indirect affects too.
