Colombo, June 4 (Daily Mirror) - An Internal Affairs Unit has been officially established within the premises of the Presidential Secretariat to facilitate the public in submitting inquiries and complaints related to the services provided by the Secretariat.

The new unit was formally declared open today by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.

The public can now direct any inquiries or grievances concerning services offered by the Presidential Secretariat through multiple channels. Submissions can be made by post, telephone, WhatsApp, or email to the following contact points:

Great move but AI technology may be required to classify or stratify complaints and process it fast otherwise we will have to increase head count of Presidential Secretariat by 50 to 100. I suggest public be given a designed form to fill the complaint or service required in order to categorise and allocate to relevant staff for fast processing. Use experienced people to design form
