Infant dies of Covid in Galle

Colombo, June 2 (Daily Mirror) - An infant aged one and half months has died after being infected with the Coronavirus while receaving treatment at the National Hospital, Galle, Hospital Director Ranga Sabapathige said.
The infant was admitted to the hopsital on May 17 and was trasfered to the Intensive Care Unit after being diagnosed with Pneumonia.
The child's samples sent to the Medical Research Institute has confirmed that they are Covid positive.
