Indictments served on Yoshitha Rajapaksa and Daisy Forest



Colombo, July 2 (Daily Mirror) - The Colombo High Court today (02) served indictments on Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, and his grandmother Daisy Forest in connection with a money laundering case.

The case, filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, was taken up before High Court Judge Pradeep Abeyratne. 

Following the serving of indictments, both Yoshitha Rajapaksa and Daisy Forest were granted bail, each released on two surety bails of Rs. 1 million.

The court further ordered that the fingerprints of both accused be obtained.
