Most politicians in SL have no policies and principles. No standards, no class most of them low level low life SOB's. They stoop to any level for political milage. They follow the law of the jungle. For money they'll do anything. Just to give you an idea most SL politician's children studying in overseas, most of them, how did they manage to do that!??? With politician's salary, we all know how expensive the foreign universities.

Politics or not we are human and should address the issue based on these grounds. If politics can be used to the betterment of a society so be it. But if it's just a tool to feed the ambitions of few, then it's worthless.

And lets assume she was for the sake of the argument which you falsely make - can't politicians over time realise and distance themselves from it like they have now? Isn't that the reason why they are called NPP? Or are you people like yourself going to hold a grudge? If you are going to hold a grudge - then please hold the other politicians to the same standard. Afterall the politics of the Rajapaksas, and UNP are the reason why Sri Lanka ended up being bankrupt and had to get IMF loans. Where did all the money that they received go from various aid?Tsunami funds? And what about the looted money/gold from the war? And what about all the kickbacks/commission bribes for foreign investment in the country and high interest loans from China?Are you completely blind or just pathetically ignorant?

The Prime Minister has demonstrated a lack of knowledge regarding both the situation and the law, making statements that directly contradict them. Cover-ups silence victims, hinder police investigations, alert offenders, destroy evidence, and relocate teachers—often in an effort to protect the school's reputation. It is absolutely shameful that, once again, this government was wrong in handling a case of child abuse, which ultimately resulted in a child's tragic death.

PM's statement is applicable only when a NPP guy is found as the abuser, in case of anyone other than NPP member, they will be free to use it for political gains even after adding some lies onto it.
